Amazon Author Central: Claim Your Author Page On Foreign Platforms

05 Jun

D’vorah Lansky, M.Ed., has made it very clear in her post Harness the Power of Amazon and Enhance Your Presence on Amazon that author profile on Amazon is an important and powerful marketing tool.

My y/a fiction book Raven Boy has been published on Amazon for over a year, and the amazon store links for it are different for different countries. So I thought that it would be great to have author profiles for each and everyone of these stores.

After some research, I found out that the Author Central really works on,,, and  and bingo! you can claim your author profile on every one of them.

Here are the links:

Now, if you didn’t do your author profile on an English-speaking platform yet, I strongly recommend you to do them all at the same time, because the lay-out is exactly the same. Otherwise, creating a profile on the platform designed in some completely foreign language can be some challenge 😉

For those who already have their English profiles and can no longer go back to the registration process there, I took the screenshots of the process in English (like I said, all the platforms have the very same lay-out, so just look at them and follow through 😉  )

The first page, where you come after you’ve clicked on one of these links:

After you click on “Join”, you get to the log-in page:

Then, you must accept the terms (there’s only one button there, lol!) :

AC2Then you’ll be asked to confirm your identity:

AC4aAnd once you’ve confirmed it, you must confirm your email:

AC4In the email that will come to your inbox, you’ll need to click on the first link:

AC5It takes you to:

AC6And from there, you finally get to the familiar administrator’s page:

AC7The rest is pretty easy to figure out by analogy.

Hope this was helpful.
